Pharmacological Action:

Glutaraldehyde is disinfectant antiseptic medicine with a broad spectrum, efficient and quick disinfection effect. It has rapid bactericidal effect on both gram-positive and gram-negative bacteria, it has good killing effect on vegetative forms of bacteria, spores, viruses, fungi and mycobacterium tuberculosis. The PH value of glutaraldehyde aqueous solution at 7.5 to 7.8.

Application:

This product is used for the disinfection of rubber goods, plastic goods and surgical instruments.

Dosage and Administration:

Rubber, plastic and surgical instrument sterile: 2.0% solution (in terms of glutaraldehyde)

Adverse Reaction:

This product under conventional concentration can cause contact dermatitis or skin allergic reaction. This product can cause gastrointestinal mucosal inflammation, necrosis and ulceration by taking orally wrong. And it will cause pain, vomiting, hematemesis, hematochezia, hematuria, dysuria, acidosis, seizures and circulatory failure etc.

Precaution:

Avoid contact with skin and mucous membrane.
